Applicant Privacy Notice

How VVSPL handles the information you submit with a job application.

Last updated 19 August 2026

What we collect

When you apply for a role we collect your personal details, education history, family details, employment history, and the documents you upload: Aadhaar, PAN (optional), a photograph and your CV.

Why we collect it

This information is used to assess your application, to verify identity and eligibility, and to communicate with you about the recruitment process.

How it is protected

Aadhaar and PAN numbers are encrypted before they are written to our database and are displayed in masked form (for example, XXXX XXXX 1234) in our internal tools. Documents are stored as private, authenticated assets and are never published as public website files. Retrieving a document requires an authenticated staff account with an HR role, and every view or download is recorded in an audit log.

Who can see it

Access is limited to staff with an HR role. Content and support staff have no access to applicant documents or unmasked identity numbers.

Retention and deletion

Placeholder — retention periods and the process for requesting deletion are to be confirmed by VVSPL and reviewed by legal counsel.
